Vanessa Kerrigan For Trustee, Village of North Barrington

Vanessa was appointed to the village board in 2021. In her two year tenure she has put incredible effort to learn the workings of village government and to understand the needs of her constituents. The village board members are diverse in background. Vanessa brings much needed legal background. In our discussions on policy she is not afraid to put forward her thoughts, ask the appropriate questions, and challenge the workings where necessary. She has wrestled with the Roads Commision to create and set up a roadmap for maintenance and upgrades of village streets while negotiating contracts that are conscious of costs to help us stay within a balanced budget. She is an effective and strong candidate, and will continue in looking out and protecting the interests of our residents

Kerrigan is the immediate first choice for voters. Although she has only a little

more than a year of service since being appointed to fill a vacancy in January

2022, she has quickly come up to speed on issues facing local government. She

has a solid grip on the requirements of managing village finances and speaks

knowledgeably and insightfully on topics ranging from stormwater problems to

the relationships required to work effectively with other board members and

village staff.

The combination that is best suited to help the village stay that course is Kerrigan, and Vandenbergh. They are endorsed.
